Import your setup
Moving from Cal.com? Your team's owner brings your event types and availability across, and sees everything that will happen before anything is written.
LiveThe importer is live: your team's owner runs it in Settings > Import > From Cal.com, on your team's own address.
Who can run it
Only your team's owner. Admins and members do not see it.
Run an import
- In Cal.com, open Settings, then Security, and create an API key. Choose the shortest expiry Cal.com offers.
- In QuantiMeet, open Settings, then Import, then From Cal.com. Paste the key and select Preview. QuantiMeet reads your event types, availability and profile once, and never keeps the key. Nothing is written yet.
- Check the preview, choose your options, and select Import now. Or select Discard the preview.
- When the import is done, the report lists each item's result. Delete the key in Cal.com.
If QuantiMeet support sent you an export of your Cal.com account, choose it as the Cal.com export file instead of pasting a key, and select Preview the file.
The preview
It groups every item under Will be created, Will be updated, Already in QuantiMeet, Skipped and Not coming across, each with its reason. Two options: copy your Cal.com profile into QuantiMeet, and make your Cal.com default schedule your default in QuantiMeet. The members of your Cal.com teams are listed too: they stay in Cal.com, and you invite them on your Members page.
What comes across
- Your event types, with their booking questions, limits and buffers. Every video location becomes QuantiMeet Video.
- Your schedules, with their time zones and date overrides.
- Your profile basics, if you choose.
What stays in Cal.com
- Bookings. The importer never reads them. They stay in Cal.com until they happen, so keep that account until the last one has.
- Your Cal.com users. Invite your staff on the Members page.
- Webhooks and routing forms. Add them again in QuantiMeet.
- Connected calendars. Connect yours again in QuantiMeet.
- Your profile photo and language. Set them again in QuantiMeet's settings.
- BetaCal.com workflows. QuantiMeet has its own, in beta: see Workflows.
- BuildingPayments. Taking payment on a booking is being built, so a paid event type comes across hidden, and every booking of it waits for your confirmation.
Run it again
Run it again whenever you like: what it brought across is updated in place, never duplicated. One import runs at a time for your team, and up to 10 can start in an hour. A preview left for a day is withdrawn.
